For nearly 20 years the premier October event has convinced some of the most interesting and creative artists in the Hudson Valley to open their studios and invite visitors in to see their beautiful artworks during the most beautiful time of year in the northeast.   

And over those same nearly 20 years these interesting and creative artists have hosted thousands of visitors in their studios making friends, gaining fans and followers, and sending their artworks off to new homes.

May Open Studio Tour

During May, ArtEast offers you a chance to visit a group of working artists who open their studio doors for two days during which you can visit while they work. 

They want you to get a sense of their challenges in realizing their specific vision. It might be dirty, noisy, and chaotic, but it will not be dull.

October Open Studio Tour

The October tour gives ArtEast artists a time to come up for air and relax while they showcase their work. 

There is nothing better for an artist than to sit back and have time to talk about their work and listen to all the feedback. This sets the stage for the year of work ahead and gives the artists that motivation to push themselves.
